Visitors Area

This year, we received a visitor of a kind somewhat unusual: "Coquette," a young parrot Platycercus EXIMINUS made stops in the area for several weeks.

Children have built him the bird house and prepared a daily dish of fresh fruit for 6 weeks.

Our next few months a family of rabbits, very discreet. She found refuge in our garden, but watch out for cats in the area ....

T like ...

T as a tractor T as Tango ... the Ardennes Draught Horse

which establishes the re plowing horse field.

Roger, in the '40s, James in the 60s worked the land of their vines with horses. Fabrizio, anxious to protect the environment and want to discover "new" farming techniques tried, a few days ago, plowing behind a horse, 50 acres of vines of the Domaine.

This spring weeding by clawing and inter-vines prevents soil compaction.

We will follow this plot of land, fruit, until the bottle in isolation to assess the natural working of a wine. We'll talk of this plot and this wine in a few years ...

Flashback on the St. Vincent

Lets see the festivities of St. Vincent in 2010 in Mareuil sur Ay:

Each year, the growers of the village found on the day of St. Vincent, January 22 for the handover of the baton of St. Vincent. It takes place at the beginning of the Mass of St. Vincent.

The baton is passed between the growers for a period of one year. The stick is brought to the Church by the barrister for the previous year, it is then the new presidency that had the honor to bring the stick in the hall, where there are official speeches, retrospectives of the wine last year and awarding of medals and diplomas.

James Pouillon was honored to receive the Medal of Confraternity of St. Vincent for its commitment to the traditions of the celebration of St. Vincent.

To celebrate the arrival of the stick, nothing more than a few flutes and the hymn to St. Vincent, among colleagues and friends.

The whole family is proud to host Pouillon patron saint for one year in operation. Hope that his presence brings a vintage Champagne Pouillon 2010 high quality ;-)

Let's see if the Rose ....

A quick visit to "resupply" in our favorite distributors has enabled us to discover and taste the cuisine of one of our new ambassadors: At Rose.

Any new address in St. Cloud, the restaurant "Chez Rose" is open for 6 months.
After 10 years in the restaurant, Rosa launches her own business and offers a fine map around the fish and seafood of the day fishing and seafood platter, grilled fish, the idea that 's is to highlight a top product costs. With a wine list that gives pride of the Loire and Burgundy.
After the office, you can also eat just a few shrimp with a small glass of white wine to drink ...

A great idea: all wines are available in half-bottles: the solution? We open a bottle just for you if it is not already open by another table, and you use half carafe!

And the note? 50% of the price of the bottle for a wine that has preferred a bottle aging rather than a half!

A gastronomic and hotel Dizy

Here is the first Hotel-Restaurant list: Grains of Silver, a beautiful gourmet step.

The chef, Eric Vignot offers, among others, the Discovery Menu, which pleased me. Here are my choices: Pressed sweetbread and foie gras, wild boar and then back cracked black pepper and finally the hazelnuts in all its glory.

WWF Widget

WWF-FRANCE AND THE TETRA PAK WIDGET LAUNCH COLLABORATIVE ON ECO-ACTIONS ON THE OCCASION OF THE COPENHAGEN CONFERENCE ON CLIMATE.

Because we sometimes feel that our daily efforts are just drops in an ocean of CO2 to reduce the widget Tetra Pak / WWF-France shows users how much CO2 savings can quickly become important, if you do it together!

The widget invites users to accept each week a new eco-gesture. To each of them is a quantity of CO2 that can be saved.

More Internet users are willing to accept the challenge, the greater the amount of CO 2 saved every week is important. The Internet can also offer our friends to join the eco-movement by clicking on "I defy any friend. For example, if a user agrees to proceed "under 3 minutes in the shower, it may save up to 301 kg of CO2 per year. If 1000 users accept this challenge, 301 tons of CO2 can be saved! A star in the middle of the Montagne de Reims

Visit Champagne

The approach of Christmas and New Year is for our customers the opportunity to stay in our region to purchase from their favorite producers.

Last day of collection

Here is the last collection day ends. All are now fermenting musts in Mareuil and Ecueil. This day has allowed to realize the selection of clusters for the development of Champagne 2Xoz 2009. The plots selected this year are from the vineyards of Mareuil sur Aÿ: Chemin du Bois d'Athis Crayères and White Cross.
